During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on December 5, 2024 and completed on December 10, 2024. The on-site inspection began at 3:40pm and ended at 5:10pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 40 children present and four staff. The inspector reviewed five children?s records and five staff records electronically on December 10, 2024. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-430-K
Provision shall be made for an individual place for each child's personal belongings. The children present during the inspection had their personal belongings sitting on the steps of the stage that is located in the cafeteria.
Plan of Correction: We will start will the children's baskets in the cafeteria and have the children carry them to the gym at the end of the day.
Standard 8VAC20-780-540-E
Nonmedical emergency supplies shall be required including one working, battery-operated radio in each building used by children and any camp location without a building. The battery-operated radio would not work during the inspection.
Plan of Correction: We will request additional batteries to add to the radio or buy a new radio.
