Inspector Notes

An unannounced onsite renewal inspection including staff record review was initiated on September 11, 2023 and concluded on September 15, 2023. Children and staff records were reviewed. Children were observed in teacher and self-directed activities at the center location. There were 32 children in care ranged in age from four through nine years old with two staff. Violations regarding ratio, staff and children's records were observed and discussed with the onsite director during the exit interview at the conclusion of the inspection.

Based on observation and interview the center failed to ensure that when children are in ongoing mixed age groups the staff to children ratio and group size applicable to the youngest child in the group will apply to the entire group.
