During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection.

Inspector Notes

A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on October 1, 2025. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

Standard 8VAC20-790-170-G
The vendor shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all caregivers, a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions. This list shall be dated and kept confidential. Two children, enrolled for over 11 months, with diagnosed food allergies, were not on the allergy list. ,

Repeat Violation
The vendor shall maintain a written hard copy record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure of each child in care as it occurs. Eight children were observed in attendance and seven children were signed in on the attendance log. Child #5 was in care for over four hours without being signed in on the attendance log.

Standard 8VAC20-790-190-B-12
A written care plan is required for each child with a diagnosed food allergy, to include instructions from a physician regarding the food to which the child is allergic and the steps to be taken in the event of a suspected or confirmed allergic reaction.
1. Child #4, who has been enrolled for over one year, has a diagnosed food allergy and did not have a written care plan in their file.
2. Child #5, who has been enrolled for over 11 months, has a diagnosed food allergy and did not have a written care plan in their file.
