During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above to include standards found out of compliance during the previous inspection. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. If there were any serious injuries or fatalities related to a violation, the details will be included in the description of the violation.

The inspection findings have been updated on March 18, 2026 to include a violation that was inadvertently omitted.

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on March 4, 2026, The on-site inspection began at 10:16 a.m. and ended at 12:00 p.m. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 9 children present and 5 caregivers; the point total was 19. The inspector reviewed 3 children?s records and 7 caregiver/household member(s) records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the home, interviews, and observations.

A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Child day programs and certain other programs; carbon monoxide detectors. Each building that was built before 2015 and that houses a child day program that is licensed pursuant to this chapter or any program described in subdivision A 4, B 1, or B 5 of ? 22.1-289.030 that serves preschool-age children shall be equipped with at least one carbon monoxide detector.

The provider shall ensure compliance with these standards and the terms of the current license issued by the department and with relevant federal, state or local laws, and other relevant regulations.
1. The provider was not in compliance with the terms of the license. The license issued states no more than one non-family employee is permitted to work on-site during business hours based on the Home Occupation Certification issued by Orange County.
