Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on January 4 2023 between 10:50am and 12:15pm. Children were observed washing hands, preparing for lunch time, and eating lunch. A review of the child records, staffing records, emergency drills, classroom plans, and the menu was conducted. Citations are located on the Violation Notice page. Based on record review, the center did not ensure that each staff member submit documentation of a negative tuberculosis screening that was conducted no more than 30 days prior to employment.

Evidence: Staff #1 record identified employment began October 3 2022 and a tuberculosis screening that was submitted was dated June 15 2021.

Based on documentation review, the center did not implement at monthly practice evacuation drill each month.

Evidence: The center had documentation of emergency drills conducted. A shelter in place drill was identified as being the May 2022 emergency drill and an evacuation drill was not documented as having taken place.
