Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between the hours of 11:54am and 12:50pm. There was 1 child directly supervised by the provider. The home, 1 caregiver records, 2 children?s records, 3 household member?s records, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. The child was observed playing freely. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a current report of tuberculosis screening every two years for one household member.

Evidence:
1. The most recent tuberculosis screening in the record for Household Member #1 was dated 7/13/2020.
Plan of Correction: I will take her today.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain documentation that a child has been adequately immunized before the child's first day.

Evidence:
1. Child #1 began attending the family day home on 12/19/2022.
2. The immunizations in the record for Child #1 were dated 1/6/2023.
Plan of Correction: Immunizations will be obtained before the first date of attendance.
