Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:10pm-2:00pm. One enrolled child and one resident child were present, directly supervised by the provider. The home, 4 caregiver/household member records, 3 children?s records, evacuation drills, and policies were inspected. Children were observed playing freely. The provider was actively engaged and encouraging with the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain the results of a search of the Central Registry for 3 of 4 caregiver/household member records every 5 years as required.

Evidence:
1. The results of the search of the Central Registry for Caregiver #1 were dated 10/15/2023, more than 5 years from the previous search results dated 8/28/2018.
2. The results of the search of the Central Registry for Household Member #1 were dated 10/15/2023, more than 5 years from the previous search results dated 8/26/2018.
3. The results of the search of the Central Registry for Household Member #2 were dated 10/15/2023, more than 5 years from the previous search results dated 8/26/2018.
Plan of Correction: The required background check results were completed and placed in the records.
