Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was completed on April 10, 2024 from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm at the family day home. There were 2 children present with 1 caregiver supervising. There were observations of the children in care watching television, interacting with caregiver, and playing with age appropriate equipment. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 children records and 1 caregiver records were reviewed.

Based on review of caregiver's record and interview, the provider did not ensure every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department.

Evidence: In the Caregiver's record, the last dated tuberculosis screening was dated 05/04/21. Interview with the provider confirmed the documentation available for review.
Plan of Correction: Provider will call and schedule TB to include in record for review.
