The license and any other documents required by the Superintendent shall be posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises. The most recent inspection summary from September 25, 2025, was not posted in a conspicuous place on the licensed premises.
Plan of Correction: Plan of Correction: The center immediately posted the inspection summary from today?s inspection. Moving forward, there will be an area on the parent board that posts the most recent inspection by the Department of Education.

The center shall obtain a copy of the results of a search of the central registry maintained
pursuant to ? 63.2-1515 for any founded complaint of child abuse or neglect against
him. The center did not obtain the Virginia Central Registry results for Staff #1 that was currently present working with children alone and has been working at the center for over 5 months.

Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: The center will follow up with the Office of Background Investigations and obtain a copy of the Central Registry results of Virginia for Staff #1.

The staff-to-children ratio for children from the age of birth up to 16 months is one staff member to four children. There were two staff members that were supervising a total of 11 children with the youngest child being 4 months old.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: The staff will ensure that they will stay in ratio specified by the youngest child in their care.

One staff member shall not supervise more than one room or area during rest time. Two infant staff members supervising 7 infant children were also supervising the toddler classroom next door. There were 4 children that were all asleep in the toddler room and no staff member present.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Moving forward in the future, staff members will combine both the toddler and 2 year old room during nap time. The staff will ensure that all children during nap time will be appropriately supervised by a teacher in each classroom.
