During the inspection, the inspector reviewed the areas listed above. Unless otherwise noted as a violation within this inspection report, the provider was in compliance with the standards reviewed. Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 2/28/25. The on-site inspection began at 11:45am and ended at 1:45pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 6 children present and 3 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children's records and 5 staff/board member records on-site. This inspection included document review, a tour of the facility, interviews and observations. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-160-C
A tuberculosis (TB) screening is required every two years from the last screening.

Staff 1's updated TB screening is overdue by one month.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Staff 1 will obtain their updated TB screening as soon as possible. School management will continue to ensure all staff obtain TB screenings within the required timeframes.
Standard 8VAC20-780-240-A
Staff are to complete the VDOE sponsored online orientation course within 90 days of hire.

Staff 2 has not completed this course, which is overdue by more than one month.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: Staff 2 has been given one week to complete the training. School management will monitor new employees progress on required trainings to ensure all trainings are completed.

Prescription medication may be administered provided that the center administers only those drugs that were dispensed from a pharmacy and maintained in the original, labeled container.

Medication for child 1 was not maintained in the original labeled container.
Plan of Correction: The center responded with the following: The parent will be contacted to obtain the original containers of the child's medication.
