Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 10/16/2023 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. A total of 79 children were present with 13 caregivers. The children were engaged in the following: listening to Halloween themed story time, preparing for nap, washing hands, eating lunch, and learning about the Adventures of Clouse, the traveling
mouse, who goes home with children in the Montessori classroom and they journal about their activities. Infants were observed napping, playing and participating in tummy time. Lunch served today was a turkey and cheese sandwich, carrots, oranges, and milk. Programming, menu, emergency procedures, 7 medications, and 8 children?s records and 5 staff records were reviewed.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
