Inspector Notes

A unannounced mandated inspection was conducted on May 7th from 9:00 am - 10:15 am. There were 70 children in care with 19 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 7 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation, areas of the center were not maintained in a clean, safe, and operable condition.

Evidence:
In the Super Stars classroom, chipped paint and peeling wallpaper were observed on the back wall near the electrical outlet.
Plan of Correction: I will get the wall repaired.
