An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 04/01/2026 in response to a self-report received by the licensing office on 3/26/2026 relating to supervision of children. This inspection included document review and interviews.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Please complete the plan of correction (POC) and date to be corrected sections for each violation cited on the violation notice. Specify how the violation will be or has been corrected. Submit your POC within five (5) business days from today, which will be the close of business on 3/9/2026. A POC submitted after this date will not appear on the public website.

When staff are supervising children, they shall always ensure their care, protection, and guidance.

Center management confirmed that Staff #1 was found asleep in the Foglia classroom during the children's rest period on 03/26/2026. Staff #1 was the only staff providing supervision to the group at this time. There were six children in attendance, one of which was awake. The children in this group were two years old.
Plan of Correction: Reggio's Treehouse recognizes the seriousness of this concern. The safety and well-being of the children in our care is our highest priority. Through corrective action, retraining, strengthened monitoring procedures, and reinforced accountability, we are committed to ensuring full compliance with licensing regulations and maintaining a culture of vigilant supervision.

The staff member was terminated effective immediately on 3/27/26.

Children under 10 years of age always shall be within actual sight and sound supervision of staff.

On 3/26/26, at approximately 2:10pm, Center Management confirmed that Staff # 1 was observed sleeping in the Foglia classroom during the children's rest period. There were six children present in the classroom, aged 2 years old, with Staff member #1. One child was awake on their cot at the time of the observation.
Plan of Correction: Administration will conduct unannounced nap time supervision checks in all classrooms moving forward. Observations will be documented and maintained on file. Any concerns identified during monitoring will be addressed immediately. All staff will be retrained and reminded of naptime expectations.
