Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 05/18/2022. 94 children were directly supervised by 15 staff. The physical space, 5 children's records, 3 new staff records, evacuation drills, required posted documents, the Emergency Preparedness Plan, attendance and medications were reviewed. Children were observed playing on the playground, resting during nap time, lining up for dismissal and engaging with the staff. Age appropriate materials were available in all classrooms. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Based on record review and interview with the director, the center did not implement a monthly practice evacuation drill. Evidence: Evacuation drills were not conducted for March & April of 2022.
Plan of Correction: Due to extenuating circumstances, we missed the evacuation drills for March and April. We are back on track now.
