Inspector Notes
An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. A total of 12 children (30pts) which included the Provider's 1 child with a total of 3 staff. The children were sitting patiently waiting for lunch at the beginning of the inspection. Lunch today was ground beef with rice. Staff were observed assisting the younger children with eating while the older children were feeding themselves. Close supervision was provided during meal time. Observation of the programming room, backyard and upstairs level where the crib room is maintained was made. No medication needs at this time and no identified food allergies. Diapering and hand washing procedures were observed during the inspection. When the children were finished eating, they lined for hand washing while the provider read a book to them. A smooth transition was observed. The home was maintained and organized. Age appropriate toys and equipment was onsite. A total of 5 children's records, all staff/household records were reviewed. Previous violations were reviewed and corrections verified. This inspection occurred between 11am and 12:45pm. Thank you for your cooperation today.
