Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 01/09/2025. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 am and ended at 12:10 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 33 children and 8 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 5 staff records on-site.

The inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

In areas used by children of preschool age or younger, electrical outlets shall have protective covers.

There was an uncovered electrical outlet in the pre-k classroom.
Plan of Correction: Outlets will be covered.
Standard 8VAC20-780-320-B
Restroom areas provided for children shall be equipped with soap, toilet paper, and disposable towels or an air dryer within reach of children.

There was no soap accessible in the boys restroom.
Plan of Correction: The soap dispenser will be replaced.
