Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today, 12/05/2022. 8 children (21pts) were directly supervised by 2 caregivers. Ratios were in compliance. The physical space, required posted documents, evacuation drills, and 2 children?s records were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed coming back from a walk. Age appropriate activities and materials were available for the children in the classroom area. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Based on record review and interview with the Provider, the emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly. Evidence: Documentation was not available to show evacuation drills had been completed in October and November.
Plan of Correction: I will do a drill right away and make sure to write the dates completed on the evacuation drill log.
