Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted in addition to a Self-Reported incident. The inspection was initiated on 10/25/2023 from 9:45am to 10:50am. The provider was present with 6 children. Ratios were in compliance. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, supervision, programming, special care and emergencies. Incident reports were also reviewed and in compliance. 3 children's records and Provider/household member records were reviewed. Children were observed playing with age appropriate toys, interacting with each other and engaging with the Provider. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program. Based on interview with the Provider, potentially poisonous substances were not stored away in an area inaccessible to children. Evidence: A small paint roller, with remnants of chalk paint, was left on a lower shelf, accessible to children.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure to never leave any potentially dangerous materials in an area accessible to children.
