Violations

1
Standard 8VAC20-800-570-A
Based on observation and interview, the provider exceeded the 16 points allowed for one caregiver.
Evidence:
1. At arrival, the Licensing Inspector observed Staff #2 with 9 children which totaled 23 points. Staff #1 was not present at that time. Staff #1 arrived approximately 15 minutes after the licensing inspector arrived.
2. Staff #1 confirmed that Staff #2 was left with 9 children which totaled 23 points.
Plan of Correction: I will make sure there is always 2 providers in the home at all times. I ran out to the grocery store because we were getting low on milk. Therefore, I will double check our supplies every evening to make sure that we have everything we need for the next day. So there will be no need for a grocery run during the day.
