Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was initiated on 4/17/2023 and concluded on 4/17/2023. There were 17 children present with three staff supervising and one kitchen staff. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records and two staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 11:30 am and concluded at 1:05 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on observation the center failed to ensure that children's hands shall be washed with soap and running water or disposable wipes before and after eating meals or snacks.
Evidence:
The children did not wash their hands following lunch.
Plan of Correction: The staff will ensure that children's hands are washed following meals and snacks.
