Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews, and a virtual tour of the program.

This inspection was initiated and concluded on 01/13/2022. The Provider was contacted and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 5 children present (12 points), ranging from toddler to preschool age, with 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 5 children records, 3 household records, and 2 caregiver records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was (1) one non-compliance with an applicable code. This violations was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the program.

Based on interview, the Family Day Home (FDH) does not have a carbon monoxide detector.

Evidence -
1. The Provider stated during an interview conducted on the date of inspection (01/13/2022), the the home did not have a carbon monoxide detector.
2. The home was built prior to 2015.
3. There were (3) three preschool age children in care today.
Plan of Correction: A carbon monoxide detector will be purchased and installed within the home.
