Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 09/13/2023. 6 children (17pts) were in attendance with 2 Caregivers. The physical space, attendance, 3 children?s records, caregiver/household member records, evacuation drills and required posted documents were reviewed. No medications were on site. Children were observed interacting with each other, working on age appropriate activities and engaging with the caregivers. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Based on record review, the provider did not obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form, in accordance with the requirements in 8VAC20-800-170, every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department. Evidence: Subsequent tuberculosis screenings were not conducted for Household Member A and Household Member B.
Plan of Correction: I will schedule the screenings right away.
