Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was completed on 08/19/2024, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:00 am and ended at 11:50 am. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 146 children present and 24 staff. The inspector reviewed 11 children?s records and 7 staff records on-site. This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the center had not obtained an updated written authorization for a long-term prescription drug use from the child's physician and parent, annually.

Evidence:
Child #11 had a written authorization that expired on 06/12/2024.
Plan of Correction: The parent was contacted during the inspection, and is contacting their physician for an updated authorization.

Based on record review, an updated written care plan was not for each child with a diagnosed food allergy was not obtained annually.

Evidence:
1. Child #11 had an allergy action plan dated 06/12/2024.
Plan of Correction: The parent was contacted during the inspection, and is contacting their physician for an updated allergy action plan.
