Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-11:30am. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. The home, 1 staff records, 2 children?s records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, areas outside of the family day home were not maintained in a safe condition.
Evidence:
A wooden fence slat was observed to be broken on the left side of the house. The area around the break was splintered and may snag skin.
