Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 1/31/2023 and concluded on 1/31/2023. There were a total of 5 children (12 points) observed with 1 caregiver present. The children were engaged in the following: breakfast . The home, 1 new child's record, 2 caregiver/household member records, evacuation drills, and emergency supplies were inspected. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Based on a review of emergency drills and provider interview, documentation has not been maintained of emergency evacuation and shelter-in-place drills.
Evidence: Provider stated that she conducted a December 2022 fire drill but there was no documentation of the drill. There was also only 1 shelter in place drill out of the 2 that are required within the year.
Plan of Correction: Provider will conduct a fire drill monthly and a shelter in place drill twice a year, all drills will be recorded on the form as it occurs.
