Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:00 - 10:45 am with the provider. There were no children in care at the time of the inspection. Three child records, one caregiver record, the emergency drill log, daily attendance, annual training and menu were reviewed. The provider is not currently certified in Medication Administration Training (MAT) and cannot administer medication to children in care. Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure that small electrical appliances were unplugged while not in use. Evidence: there was an air fryer and a Keurig coffee maker sitting on the kitchen counter plugged in, and the appliances were not in use.
Plan of Correction: Going forward, appliances will be unplugged when not in use.
