8VAC20-790 SUBSIDY REGULATIONS.
Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted on 04/26/2022. There were 9 children, ages 6 weeks- 3 years, and 4 staff members present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staff qualifications and trainings, staffing and supervision, physical plant, programs, emergencies and nutrition. The children were observed during story time, during breakfast and outside play. Infants were observed being fed and sleeping on demand. A total of 5 children?s records, 5 staff records, and 1 manager record were reviewed. The inspector discussed the following with the staff: children?s behaviors, policies and procedures, diapering, documentation and nutrition. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 8:50 am and departed at 11:50 am.
A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements not cover in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable subsidy requirements. No violations were issued.
