Violations

2
Standard 8VAC20-800-240-A
Based on observation, an area outside of the family day home was not maintained in a safe condition.

Evidence: The first step leading to the front door of the family day home is missing 5 bricks, creating a tripping hazard.
Plan of Correction: Will be fixed by 3/31/2023 or sooner.
Standard 8VAC20-800-70-A
Based on record review and interview, before the child's first day of attendance, parents were not provided in writing the family day home's policies for termination of care.

Evidence: Child #1 (start date: 8/8/2022) and child #2's (start date: 9/26/2022) records did have written documentation of the family day home's policies for termination of care.
Plan of Correction: I will come up with a termination of care policy by 3/24/23.
