Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 12:55 pm-1:55 pm. There were 34 children (2-5yrs.) directly supervised by 5staff. The physical plant, 4 staff records, 4 children?s records, medications, evacuation drills, injury reports, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed arriving into care and at rest time. Cleaning and hand-washing procedures were also discussed. There was an ample supply of materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Based upon observation, required top and bottom linens were not available during rest time.
Evidence: 5 children in the purple and green room did not have a bottom cot cover as required.
Plan of Correction: We will ask parents for linens for tomorrow.
