Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted with the director beginning at 9:55 AM and ending at 10:50 AM. There were 20 children, ages ranging between 3 months and 5 years old, in the care of 5 staff members. The children were observed playing with age appropriate toys. Five children's records were reviewed and in compliance. Four staff records were reviewed and in compliance. Two medications were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent evacuation drill was documented as 1/26/2022. The most recent shelter-in-place drill was documented as 1112/2021. The most recent fire inspection was dated 09/01/2021. The most recent health inspection was dated 1/22/2021.

Based on observation, not all of the equipment inside the center were maintained in a safe and operable condition. Evidence: In th e PreK classroom the door to the under skink cabinet was broken. The top hinge was disconnected from the door.
Plan of Correction: The director will contact maintenance to have the cabinet repaired.
