Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted in conjunction with the licensing inspection. Subsidy standards that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this SHSI.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

2Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
All staff who work directly with children shall have within 90 days of employment current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. S2 and S4, who are working with children, has not completed this course which is overdue by 4 months. S3, who is working with children, has not completed this course which is overdue by 5 months. S5, who is working with children, has not completed this course which is overdue by 6 months. S6, who is working with children, completed this course; however, it was overdue by 1 month.
Plan of Correction: The staff orientation process has been updated to included an " initial" first aid and CPR orientation on the first day of employment. Also, all new staff will be required to complete first aid and CPR training within 30 days of employment.
