Inspector Notes
The inspector conducted an unannounced health and safety inspection on Tuesday, January, 3, 2023. The inspection was conducted at approximately 9:15 AM until 11:15 AM. There were 61 children in care with 12 staff supervising. The inspector observed the children playing with various age appropriate play materials, napping, and playing with table activities. The inspector inspected all 6 classrooms, restrooms, playground, kitchen, and one bus. The center's first aid kit and non-medical emergency supplies were inspected and found complete. Liability insurance, health inspection, and drills were all in compliance. A total of 5 child records, and 5 staff records were reviewed
A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
