Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today between 11:30am and 12:20pm. There were 4 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 12 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing doctor, dramatic play and playing freely with trucks and cars. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. Ample toys and activities are available for the enrolled age group. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Violations were found during today?s inspection and can be viewed on the Violation Notice.

Based on observation, children under two years of age have access to stairs.
Evidence: During the inspection, the gate at the bottom of the stairs remained open. Child #1 (15 months) and Child #4 (7 months) had access to the stairs.
Plan of Correction: Someone is always out here with them to make sure they stay away from the stairs. We'll keep it closed.
