Inspector Notes

The Licensing Inspector initiated and completed a monitoring inspection on 3/9/2023. The inspector was on site from 3:05pm until 3:55pm.

There were seven children under the care of two staff. The ages of the children ranged from five to nine years old. The children were observed during indoor play and snack time. Two children?s records and two staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program

Based on record review, the center failed to obtain a copy of the results of a search of the central registry for any founded complaints of child abuse or neglect within 30 days of employment.

Evidence: Staff #1 was hired on 8/8/2022. A returned search of the central registry was not in the record. Staff #1 did not provide documentation when requested.
Plan of Correction: Director sent out another form for the background check.
