Inspector Notes
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on April 3, 2024 with the center director and staff. There were 44 children present with 8 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-790-600-D-1
Repeat violation. Based on review of five staff records, the facility failed to have each staff current in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 90 days of employment. Evidence: Staff 2 (date of employment 5/22/2023) and Staff 5 (date of employment 11/20/2023 did not have documentation of CPR certification.
Plan of Correction: Center director stated first aid/CPR certification will be provided to staff as soon as it can be scheduled.
