Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:55am-11:44am with the provider on site. There were 12 children with 3 caregivers. A sample of 2 children's files and 2 caregivers/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play and painting. Interactions between the children and caregivers were positive. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The physical space, attendance records, first aid kit, drill record and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications on site. Based on observation, information contained in a child's record was not kept confidential.
Evidence:
1. In the provider's office, the supplemental page was posted on the wall for the inspection dated 10/26/2021 and 3/24/2022. The supplemental page is considered confidential.
Plan of Correction: I took it down immediately.

Based on review, the provider did not review the emergency plan at least annually, updated the plan as needed and document in writing each review and update to the emergency plan.

1. The provider's emergency plan was reviewed last on 9/26/2021.
