Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. There were 40 children in direct care of 8 staff members supervising. The children were observed completing Mother's Day activities, coloring, playing in small centers with dinosaurs and home living toys. There were no children with diagnosed food allergies or medications on site. 3 staff records, 3 children's records, children's injury reports, the emergency preparedness plan, emergency drill records, and first aid kits were reviewed. The center is current on the new policies required by the standards.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. For any questions regarding this inspection, please contact me at mahrukh.aziz@doe.virginia.gov or 571-835-4718.
