Inspector Notes

A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 02/23/2024 from 7:55am to 8:55am to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There were 10 children ages 4 months to age 4 years old (31 points) with the Provider and an assistant. The programming area, attendance, menus, Provider, Assistant and Household member records, 4 children?s records, 1 medication with corresponding authorization records, emergency drills, emergency supplies, and policies were reviewed. Children were observed participating in breakfast, napping, and dramatic play. Diapering and handwashing procedures were also observed. There was an adequate number of staff present with current certification in MAT, CPR and First Aid training.

A licensing inspection was conducted on the same date as the SHSI supplemental inspection; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. No violations of the supplemental subsidy health and safety requirements were found.
