Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated and concluded on 3/16/2023. There were 4 children present with the provider . The point total was 8. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 2 provider / household member records were reviewed. The inspection started at 2:00 pm and concluded at 3:05 pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-180-A
Based on a review of records and interview, the licensee did not ensure that each caregiver and adult household member maintains a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department.
Evidence:
Two Caregiver / Household Records were reviewed.
The record for Household member #2 did contained the most recent results of a TB screening which were dated 6/13/2019.
The licensee confirmed that she did not have a more recent TB screening for Household member #2.
Plan of Correction: The licensee stated that she would have household member #2 obtain a Tuberculosis screening within 2 weeks and will place the documentation in household member #2's record.
