Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated on 4/22/2025 and completed on 4/22/2025, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 10:22AM and ended at 12:24PM. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 100 children present and 22 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records on site on 4/22/2025 and 3 staff records on-site on 3/21/2025.
This inspection included - document review, tour of the facility, and observations.

Standard 8VAC20-780-280-B
Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. Clorox spray, bleach and disinfectant spray were in an unlocked cabinet above the sink where children brush their teeth in Classroom C.
Plan of Correction: Provider will make sure cabinets with cleaning materials are locked.

REPEAT VIOLATION

In areas used by preschool age or younger children, electrical outlets shall have protective covers. An outlet was not covered in Classroom D where children were present.
Plan of Correction: Provider placed an outlet cover in the outlet.
