Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site renewal inspection was initiated and completed on 03/05/2026, as a part of the licensure period. The on-site inspection began at 11am and ended at 12:30pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 7 children present and 2 caregivers; the point total was 22. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 2 caregiver and 1 household member record on-site. This inspection included: document review, tour of the facility, interviews, and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-800-520-C
Cribs shall have mattresses that fit snugly next to the crib so that no more than two
fingers can be inserted between the mattress and the crib.

One crib had approximately 4 inches of space between the mattress and the crib.
Plan of Correction: A new mattress will be purchased and will replace the mattress so the sheets fit better.

The emergency evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly,
An emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced in February 2026.
Plan of Correction: A fire evacuation drill will be conducted every month.
