Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 11/21/2023. There were 34 children, ages 3 months-18 months, 11 staff and 2 administrative staff present during the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, personnel, environment and equipment, care of children, preventing the spread of disease, emergencies and nutrition. Medication was observed onsite. A total of 5 children?s records, 4 staff records and 8 medications were reviewed. The children were observed during lunch and nap time. The inspector arrived for the inspection at 10:25am and departed the center at 12:17pm.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the provider.

Based on record review, the center failed to obtain the finding from the search of the central registry within 30 days of employment.

Evidence:
1. Staff #1 had a documented hire date of 9/27/2023. A return search of the central registry was not in the record.
2. Staff #3 had a documented hire date of 8/22/2023. A return search of the central registry was not in the record.
Plan of Correction: Provider will obtain central registry results.
