Inspector Notes

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today beginning at 10:20am with the provider on site. There were 5 children with 1 caregiver. A sample of 1 child?s files and 2 caregivers/household member's files were reviewed. The children were engaged in the following: toy play with legos, eating snack and washing hands. Interactions between the children and caregiver were positive. The site was clean, organized and contained an abundant supply of developmentally appropriate materials. The physical space, attendance records, drill record and the Emergency Preparedness Plan were reviewed. There were no medications on site. Based on review of documentation and interview, the provider did not have the wood burning fireplace inspected annually.
Evidence:
1. The last fireplace inspection documentation was dated 5/27/2021.
2. The provider stated she had the inspection scheduled for 11/22/2022.
