Inspector Notes

An unannounced, on-site monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 10/8/24.The on-site inspection began at 11:25 am and ended at 1:45 pm. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas listed above. There were 56 children present and 14 staff. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records and 6 staff records on-site.This inspection included document review, tour of the facility, interviews and observations.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law, and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard 8VAC20-780-40-M
The center shall maintain, in a way that is accessible to all staff a current written list of all children's allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions.

Child A's allergy , Child B and C's sensitives were not written on the list.
The allergy and sensitivities has been on file at the center for over a month.
Plan of Correction: We will add the allergy and sensitives to the list.
Standard 8VAC20-780-60-A-8
A written care plan is required from a physician for each child with a diagnosed food allergy.
There was no written care plan from a physician for child A's food allergy.
Plan of Correction: I will obtain an written care plan from the physician.
