Inspector Notes

A complaint was received on May 20, 2021 concerning notification to parents regarding minor injuries, injury reports, ensuring the care and protection of children, parent communication, the maintenance of clean indoor areas, and center compliance with its own policies. The complaint investigation was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. After completion of staff interviews on June 14, 2021, a review of pertinent documentation, and a thorough review of the facts, it was determined that the complaint was not valid. There were no violations resulting from this investigation.
