A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted between 10:00am & 10:33am; there were no children in care. Physical plant, staff records, and emergency procedures were reviewed along with all subsidy health and safety requirements. Based on record review and staff interview, the vendor did not ensure that caregivers who work directly with children completed the department's health and safety update course annually.
Evidence:
1. The record of staff # 1 did not contain documentation of the Virginia Annual Health and Safety Update.
2. Staff #1 acknowledged that the training update was not completed.
