Inspector Notes

A renewal inspection was conducted on 05/12/2022 from approximately 11:08am-11:50am. There were 3 children present, 12 points, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 1 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a repeat tuberculosis screening for each caregiver.

Evidence:
The tuberculosis screening of Caregiver A expired in 2021.
Plan of Correction: I will get my tuberculosis screening.

Based on observation, potentially poisonous substances were not inaccessible to children.

Evidence:
Disinfectant wipes were on a table in the kitchen.
Plan of Correction: I will put them up, I just used them.

Based on observation, child resistant protective covers were not installed on all unused electrical outlets.

Evidence:
Two unused electrical outlets located on the island in the kitchen were not covered with protective covers.

Caregiver A heated a bottle in the microwave.
