Inspector Notes

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on May 19 2023, between 9:30am and 10:30am. There were 3 children in the direct care of the caregiver. Children were observed napping, reading, and playing with toys. A reviews of 2 child records, the provider record, and a household member record was conducted. The attendance records, emergency drills, first aid kit, menu, and the physical space was observed and inspected. A citation is listed on the violation notice page. Based on direct observation, the provider did not ensure children under two years of age do not used pillows or filled comforters.

Evidence: Child #2 was observed in a crib utilizing a pillow during a nap.
Plan of Correction: I will remove the pillow and inform the parents that we will not use it.
