Inspector Notes

A monitoring inspection was initiated on 11-8-23 and concluded on 11-8-23. There were 39 children present with 7 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 5 child records and 5 staff records were reviewed. The inspection started at 10:15am and concluded at 11:50am.

The information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Based on review of documents and discussions with the administration the center failed to ensure that monthly emergency evacuation drills were conducted as required.

Evidence:
There was no practiced evacuation drill for January 2023, April 2023, June 2023, August 2023, September 2023, and October 2023. Drills are to be conducted and recorded monthly.
Plan of Correction: Monthly drills will be practiced and recorded monthly, as required, to ensure future compliance.
