Inspector Notes
A renewal inspection was initiated on 5/26/2022 and concluded on 5/26/2022. There were a total of 54 children with 10 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, engaged in group activities, stories, learning shapes and colors. A total of 3 child records and 3 staff records were reviewed. Center policies, fire drills, fire and health inspections were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. 4Evidence: Staff #1, date of hire 5/24/2022 does not have documentation of a TB screening. Staff #1 was observed caring for children this date.
Evidence: Child #1 has prescription and over the counter medication for a food allergy, the medication was on site but there was no documentation of parent or physician authorization to administer these medications.
Evidence: There was no documentation of monthly fire evacuation drills for October 2021-december 2021.
The director stated that they were conducted but just not documented.
Evidence: There was no documentation of shelter in place drills for the year 2021. The last documented drill was dated 12/2020.
The director stated that they have not completed shelter drills in the past year.
